The brief
Potentialz Unlimited is a Sydney psychology practice in the Hills District run by Dr Gurprit Ganda (Clinical Psychologist) and Sushama Sathe (Psychologist). The practice wanted a way for clients to complete their assigned psychological questionnaires between sessions, journal reflections, and stay close to their care team — without phone tag or paper forms.
Our approach
We built a native cross-platform app in React Native + Expo. v1 ships with appointment booking, a CBT journal, a resources library, the team page, and contact. The clinical-assessment workflow — validated questionnaires (K-10, DASS-21, GAD-7, PHQ-9, PCL-5, ISI) and clinician-facing scoring — is on the published roadmap for subsequent phases and is not part of the v1 user experience.
What ships in v1
- Book Appointment. Clients see clinician availability and request appointments directly from the app.
- CBT Journal. Private journaling with structured CBT prompts. Entries stay on-device unless the client chooses to share with their clinician.
- Resources Library. Curated mental-health resources, organised by topic, for clients to access between sessions.
- Team. Profiles of treating clinicians — Dr Gurprit Ganda and Sushama Sathe — visible inside the app.
- Contact. Direct line to the practice's reception with the practice's preferred channels.
What's honest about this case study
- v1.0 shipped to both App Store and Google Play in May 2026.
- Built end-to-end by Awesome Apps for our family's psychology practice.
- Subsequent phases (2–6) are coded and in pre-beta — they are not described above because they aren't yet live for users.
This is the launch we love talking about — our own practice, built by our own family-of-companies. v1 is intentionally small: book, journal, resources, team, contact. Future phases bring the validated questionnaires fully into the client experience, but we wanted v1 to be honest about what's wired today.
